Start with the job measurements

Record the lit footage of every roofline, ridge, walkway, driveway edge, and doorway. List unlit connections separately. Note the mounting surface for each section and whether ground routes cover one side or both. A complete drawing prevents under-ordering connectors while over-ordering bulbs.

List bulbs and socket line

Choose a single color or a repeating pattern from the six catalog colors. Decide on 12-inch or 15-inch socket spacing, calculate the estimated sockets, and round each color to 25-count packs. Socket line is sold as 1,000-foot spools. Confirm the actual socket count and product specifications before assembly.

List connections and mounting

Measure SPT-1 lamp wire in unlit transitions and count compatible male and female plugs independently. Choose O-Clips for gutters and shingle edges, magnetic clips for suitable magnetic surfaces, ridge clips for ridges, and straight ground stakes for walkway or driveway runs. Round each mounting type to 100-count packs.

Finish with logistics and records

Inspect existing reusable stock before buying duplicates, and list spare stock separately. Put the job deadline, delivery or Burleson pickup preference, and compatibility questions in the order notes.
