HOW-TO & PLANNING
The details that make a cleaner install.
- Measure each section that will actually have bulbs, and keep unlit connecting runs separate.
- Mark gutters, shingle edges, roof ridges, and ground routes so each section has an appropriate mounting option.
- Choose 12-inch or 15-inch socket spacing. At 12 inches, estimate one bulb per foot; at 15 inches, estimate four bulbs per five feet.
- Round bulbs to packs of 25 and mounting pieces to packs of 100. Check the actual socket count before ordering.
- List connecting lamp wire and male/female plugs separately. Add a project deadline to your order notes.
